Discussion Questions
1. What does it mean for you personally to be called a "son/daughter of God" through faith in Christ? How does this new identity shape how you view yourself and others in the church?
2. In this verse, Paul lists categories that were often sources of division in his time. What are some modern-day divisions or barriers (ethnic, social, gender, economic, etc.) that still affect the unity of the church today?
3. Do you ever find it difficult to fully embrace people who are different from you in terms of background or culture? What might help you overcome those barriers?
4. How should the promise of our inheritance in Christ shape our relationships with other believers? How can we be more intentional about treating one another as equals in the family of God?
5. Reflecting on Galatians 3:28-29, are there any relationships or attitudes in your own life that need to change to better reflect unity in Christ? How can you take steps toward reconciliation or building stronger relationships within the body of Christ?
6. Spend some time praying for the church—both locally and globally—that believers would live out the unity we have in Christ, overcoming divisions and reflecting God's love to the world.
