1 Peter: A Hope that Changes US

1 Peter 1:13-25

Because believers have a secure future, Peter calls them to set their hope fully on Christ and live holy, obedient lives in the present. They are to reject their former ways and live in reverent fear, remembering they were redeemed not with perishable things but with the precious blood of Christ. This new identity produces a sincere love for others, flowing from a heart that has been born again through the living and enduring Word of God. While everything in this world fades, God’s Word—and the new life it produces—endures forever.
