1 Peter: The Good Life

After addressing submission in government, work, and marriage, Peter broadens his focus to every believer. A life submitted to Christ is marked by the right attitude toward others, the right response when mistreated, and the right pursuit of godliness. Instead of reflecting the world's values of pride, retaliation, and self-interest, Christians are called to display the character of Christ through humility, blessing, and peace. As we live before the watchful eyes of God, our lives become a powerful testimony to the transforming work of the gospel.
